Is there life after 30 years of marriage? The children have left the nest to study abroad, retirement looms, and time passes by meeting the same old friends and playing golf. But William (Daniel Auteil) and Madeleine (Sabine Azéma) are still very much in love, and their life holds many surprises. One day while setting up her easel to paint in front of an old house in the picturesque French mountainside, Madeleine meets Adam, a cultured gentleman who is blind. William and Madeleine quickly grow close to Adam and his young girlfriend, though all is not entirely as it seems…
